This morning my parents, my little sister
and I took a 7am flight to Miami to board Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas, the biggest cruise ship in the world at 160,000 tons.  We arrived at the pier before 11am, waited in the line for about an hour before being let in.  Then spent another couple of hours in the customs area before actually boarding the ship at around 2 pm.  The four of us were surviving on the snacks that CL bought us the night before, as no food was served on the flight.  Needless to say the first place we visited on the ship was the buffet restaurant.

This is the first cruise experience for me, so for the first day, I was mostly just walking around to see what there’s to do and see.  We all played mini putt after dinner.  It was funny to see my dad so excited after getting a hole-in-one after the golf ball jumped over a rock
